Event Description
Please join the ASU Office of Community Health, Engagement and Resiliency and our partners as we present the THRIVE Resource Café live stream webinar and social media series. Wednesday, September 3rd, from 12-12:30 p.m., we will feature the AmeriCorps Public Allies Program. Learn more about Public Allies and their recent adaptations providing relief to communities like Tucson in these trying times. Public Allies is an AmeriCorps program of the ASU Lodestar Center dedicated to young-adult leadership development. The mission is to create a just and equitable society and the diverse leadership to sustain it. Previously, they have focused exclusively on partnering with local organizations to address capacity-building initiatives but are now actively seeking partner organizations that need assistance with direct services that provide relief to communities that are experiencing challenges due to the coronavirus/COVID-19 or its effects.
Join us via Zoom Webinar (by phone or video on your computer, tablet, or cell phone), or via our live stream on Facebook @thriveinthe05.
