2020 was an impactful year, but none of this impact would have been possible without our valued community members and partners. Thank you to all volunteers for their time, passion, and presence in promoting a more resilient community in the 85705 and beyond!
ASU’s Office of Community Health, Engagement, and Resiliency (OCHER) is a main partner in organizing the volunteer effort of Thrive. Follow the link below to read more about the impact OCHER, Thrive, and our valued volunteers have had in 2020.
From providing social support to at-risk adults to conducting community needs assessments to delivering essential items to ease the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, Thrive volunteers have contributed over 4,400 hours to the 05 community!
In the summer of 2020, over 80 volunteers gave their time to pack and distribute 2,400+ care bags of essential items to communities in need.
