| You may have noticed some light pole signs and stop sign topper signs in along Drachman St. More will be installed along Stone, Oracle, and Miracle Mile. There will also be 4 new neon signs spaced along this same corridor with the same Miracle Mile Historic Neighborhood chevron. You likely have taken note of the Tucson Inn Neon Sign also on Drachman that was restored in partnership with Pima Community College. Another improvement you may have also seen is new green stormwater infrastructure throughout the Thrive area, 250 new trees, and over 300 new pollinator plants. 5 intersections along 15th Avenue received placemaking and traffic calming treatments like asphalt painting, planters, curb extensions, and speed humps. The Blue Moon Community Garden now has a composting restroom for gardeners and a new ocotillo fence has been installed on the western boundary of the garden. The Old Pascua Community Center, formerly Richey school, also received improvements, including extending the ball field, horseshoe pits, new playground and picnic tables, a new walking path and fencing. Esquer Park will have several new amenities, including a dog park, new bridge over the Bronx Wash, extended walking path, and more green stormwater infrastructure. 8 Thrive in the 05 businesses have been awarded façade improvement grants to renovate or restore exterior facades, signage, and lighting. Finally, the City has been working with the Arts Foundation of Tucson and Southern Arizona to install new public art, including 2 new murals and 1 3-D sculpture.
