WEEKLY UPDATES FROM TUCSON HOUSE MANAGEMENT DURING COVID-19
Updates From Management:
The heating system was turned on last week. If your heater is blowing cold air, try the following:
Turn the power setting to off
Turn the thermostat dial all the way to 50 degrees (or coldest depending on the thermostat dial)
Turn the power setting back on
Very slowly turn the thermostat dial to 90 degrees (or warmest depending on the thermostat dial), then wait a few minutes
The cleaning company will complete the 1st floor and basement units today (Friday). Management will be in contact with the units that needed reschedule.
On Monday, Dec. 7th, starting at 9 a.m., volunteers with the Tucson Fire Department and Tucson Medical Center will be dropping off meals prepared by El Charro at your apartment door. Please be home to receive your meal and a brief home safety check from our team.
Sun On Demand Services Free Until the End of Year
What is On Demand? Sun On Demand provides door-to-door rides for individuals traveling within each zone. Riders can make reservations one to seven days in advance, and when possible, on the same day. If you are traveling outside the zone, Sun On Demand will drop you off at a transit stop in the zone. To schedule a ride, call Sun Van Reservations at (520) 798-1000, press option 3, one to seven days in advance. Same day reservations are possible but not guaranteed. If you have any questions or would like to know more about Sun On Demand, they will be featured on this week’s Tucson House Radio Show!

City of Tucson Limited Curfew Begins Tonight
Beginning Friday, Dec. 4, at 10 p.m., and continuing through 5 a.m. on Dec. 23, a limited curfew is imposed in the City of Tucson. During the hours of 10 p.m.-5 a.m., all persons are prohibited from using, standing, sitting, traveling, or being present on any public street or in any public place, including for the purpose of travel. Exemptions include essential functions and activities.
Zoom Bingo Event Next Thursday!
Bingo on Zoom will take place next Thursday, Dec. 10, starting at 6 p.m. There will be prizes available! Starting next Monday, Dec. 7, residents will be able to pick up bingo cards and instructions to join from the Residents Council office.

Apague la configuración de energía

El lunes 7 de dic., a partir de las 9 a.m., los voluntarios del Departamento de Bomberos de Tucson y el Centro Médico de Tucson dejarán las comidas preparadas por El Charro en la puerta de su apartamento. Esté en casa para recibir su comida y una breve revisión de seguridad en el hogar de nuestro equipo.

¿Qué es On Demand? Sun On Demand ofrece viajes puerta a puerta para las personas que viajan dentro de cada zona. Los pasajeros pueden hacer reservaciones con uno a siete días de anticipación y, cuando sea posible, el mismo día. Si viaja fuera de la zona, Sun On Demand lo dejará en una parada de autobús de tránsito. Para programar un viaje, llame a Reservaciones de Sun Van al (520) 798-1000, presione la opción 3, de uno a siete días de anticipación. Reservas el mismo día son posibles pero no garantizados. El Toque de Queda Limitado de la Ciudad de Tucson Comienza esta Noche
A partir del viernes 4 de dic. a las 10 p.m. y hasta las 5 a.m. del 23 de dic., se impone un toque de queda limitado en la ciudad de Tucson. Durante el horario de 10 p.m. a 5 a.m., todas las personas tienen prohibido usar, pararse, sentarse, viajar o estar presentes en cualquier calle pública o en cualquier lugar público, incluso con el propósito de viajar. Las exenciones incluyen funciones y actividades esenciales.
