WEEKLY UPDATES FROM TUCSON HOUSE MANAGEMENT DURING COVID-19

Updates From Management:

Plan ahead for Labor Day closures on Monday. Tucson House management and Residents Council Offices will be closed on Monday, September 7. Sun Tran and Sun Van transportation will run on a Sunday schedule, regular services will resume Tuesday, September 8.

Residents signed up for PCOA meals will not have delivery on Labor Day. The regular 2 meals will be delivered next Wednesday, September 9.

Due to the ongoing pandemic, all payments and documentation submitted must be quarantined before processing and posting. Please allow until Friday, September 11, for staff to process payments turned in to the rent drop box inside Tucson House. Payments mailed to the HCD main site will be processed and posted by the end of the month.

The Community Gardens of Tucson are offering a free plot for the month of September. If you’ve been wondering about community gardening but weren’t sure, now is your chance to try out your green thumb! Contact the Residents Council to sign up. If you decide to continue gardening for the Fall Planting Season, a plot fee will be due Thursday, October 1.

Routine pest control treatments began this week. Weekly pest control treatments started with the 8th floor on Wednesday, September 2, will continue on the 9th floor next week, and so forth. You must be home to allow Terminix entry into your apartment to have your unit treated.

GAP food delivery from Residents Council on Wednesdays. Deliveries will be on Wednesdays, except the third Wednesday of the month, when they take place on Tuesdays. If residents no longer want GAP delivery or missed their drop off, please contact the Residents Council office at (520) 791-6830.

Volunteers successfully delivered nearly 300 Helping Hands Care Packages to residents last week. We hope the supplies help keep you and your apartment safe and healthy, and remind you that we are all in this together. If you were not home to receive supplies, volunteers will come by again on Friday, September 11, between 10:30-1:30 p.m.

Flu shots will be available at the Tucson House for free. No insurance needed! Keep an eye out for flyers around the building and an announcement in the coming weeks.

ACTUALIZACIONES SEMANALES DE LA GERENCIA DE TUCSON HOUSE DURANTE COVID-19

Actualizaciones de la Gerencia:

Planifique con anticipación los cierres del Día del Trabajo el lunes. La administración de Tucson House y las oficinas del Consejo de Residentes estarán cerradas el lunes 7 de septiembre. Si decide continuar con la jardinería durante la temporada de siembra de otoño, se deberá abonar una tarifa de parcela el jueves 1 de octubre.

Los tratamientos de control de plagas de rutina comenzaron esta semana. Los tratamientos semanales de control de plagas que comenzaron en el octavo piso el miércoles 2 de septiembre, continuarán en el noveno piso la próxima semana, y así sucesivamente. Debe estar en casa para permitir la entrada de Terminix a su apartamento para que se trate su unidad.

Entrega de alimentos GAP del Consejo de Residentes los miércoles. Las entregas serán los miércoles, excepto el tercer miércoles de mes, cuando se realizan los martes. Si los residentes ya no quieren la entrega de GAP o no lo dejaron, comuníquese con la oficina del Consejo de Residentes al (520) 791-6830.

Los voluntarios entregaron con éxito casi 300 Paquetes de Cuidado de Manos que Ayudan a los residentes la semana pasada. Esperamos que los suministros ayuden a que usted y su apartamento estén seguros y saludables, y le recuerden que estamos todos juntos en esto.
