WEEKLY UPDATES FROM TUCSON HOUSE MANAGEMENT DURING COVID-19

Updates From Management:

A contractor will begin making drywall repairs to the walls above the ceiling tiles starting next week. They will start on the 16th floor. Entry into your apartment is not necessary. Please use caution while walking through the hallways. We will keep you updated on their progress.

Recently, the trash chute has been clogged due to furniture, boxes, and other large items being thrown down the chute. This will result in the trash chute rooms being closed. Please do not throw boxes or large items down the trash chute.

Community Wireless Internet and Devices Update

The City of Tucson has experienced some delays in the roll-out of the Community Wireless Program. Please stay tuned for updates on when the wireless routers and tablets will be distributed to you if you signed up. We still plan to deliver them to your apartment so that you don’t need to travel to pick them up. Thank you for your patience.

COVID-19 Vaccines

Management is in contact with the Pima County Health Department to try to arrange COVID-19 vaccinations for at-risk residents at Tucson House. At the moment, we do not have more information about when this will be available. If you are 75 or older, you are eligible to register now to receive a vaccine elsewhere in the meantime. Please remember to keep wearing your masks everywhere except when in your own apartment, staying home as much as possible, washing and sanitizing your hands, and maintaining distance from others (6 or more feet).

City of Tucson Walk-up Testing for COVID-19

The City of Tucson’s pop-up testing locations are available on a walk-up basis only. No appointment is necessary. The free, saliva tests are administered by Rescue Me Wellness, and results are available in 3-5 days.

Internet y Dispositivos Inalámbricos Comunitarios

La ciudad de Tucson ha experimentado algunos retrasos en la implementación del programa Community Wireless. Esté atento a las actualizaciones sobre cuándo se le distribuirán los enrutadores inalámbricos y las tabletas si se registró.
